The Ohio State University is a renowned research institution. But not all research comes from faculty and graduate students. Undergraduate Art students are encouraged to participate in Ohio State’s community of creativity and exploration. Visit these sites for information about undergraduate research and scholarships:

Many of our very best students have completed research projects, all of which require additional work (minimum of eight credits) beyond the requirements for the BFA or the BA degrees. During the most recent academic year, seven students and their Art faculty mentors were recognized by the Dean of Arts and Humanities for their participation in the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, where students display their work and talk about it with judges.
Our experience has shown that students who have participated in research are consistently receiving recognition through acceptance into quality graduate programs (most often with funding awards) and going on to further recognition of the quality of their professional work.
