Thank you for your interest in the Department of Art at the Ohio State University! We would be happy to welcome you into our galleries, give you a tour of our facilities, and answer any questions that you may have about our degree programs and resources. Please use the menu below to learn more about visiting the Department of Art based on your interests.
If you are interested in one of our undergraduate programs and would like to schedule a time to visit the Hopkins Hall, view our facilities, and meet with a Department of Art Staff member, please email art@osu.edu
In your email to us, please let us know when you would like to schedule a tour and if there are any of our areas of focus that you are particularly interested in. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred tour date and time.
In addition to touring our department, we would also recommend setting up a general campus tour. You can do so here: Future freshmen | Visit Ohio State (osu.edu). This tour will give a wonderful overview of campus, student life, and applying to Ohio State.
If you are unable to make it onto our campus for an in-person tour, we invite you onto a virtual tour of campus!
If you are interested in our exceptional graduate level Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program and would like to schedule a time to visit our facilities, meet with the Department of Art Staff and Faculty, and speak to current MFA students, please reach out to us at art@osu.edu

- What timeframe works best for your tours?
- What discipline(s) or areas are you interested in studying?
Please allow two weeks to plan your tour. We will do our best to accommodate your availability and customize the tour to your interests.
The Department of Art regularly hosts events, artist talks, workshops, and art exhibitions that are free and open to our community. Whether you join us in person for our undergraduate Open Houses at the end of each semester or you attend one of our virtual artist talks, we can't wait to share our community with you!
