Congratulations are in order for Riley Dunbar, who is the recipient of an Arts Research Scholarship through the College of Arts and Sciences. Riley will be a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography program this autumn. Of her research, Dunbar writes,

"The title is Re-Photographing the Becher’s: A Transforming Landscape. I will to travel to Western Germany to re-photograph several industrial sites Bernd and Hilla Becher captured in their work. In doing this I am analyzing how time has transformed not only the physical appearance of these sites, but also how the purpose of these sites, within their communities, has been altered with this passing of time."
