Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Liesl Schubel was born in Ontario, Canada, in 1990. They received their BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. The folly of faithful recreation from memories motivates their work as a practice of collection and revision. They reveal entanglements of identity, home, environment, familial histories and relationships, and play with the confusions of their representations. Liesl is trained as a glassblower, having worked with glass for over 15 years, and incorporates a variety of other mediums in their work.
They are currently pursuing an MFA at OSU.
