Nikodem Adamski (b. 1997, Ohio) is a painter whose work explores longing, absurdity, and how people cope. His paintings often play with humor and melancholy, drawing from personal history and a relationship to cultural leftovers; images and aesthetics once meant to comfort, inspire, or uplift, now left behind with all their sincerity.

Adamski holds a BFA in Painting from the University of Akron and is an MFA candidate in Painting and Drawing at The Ohio State University.
