Professor Valentine teaches foundation courses in the Department of Art at The Ohio State University, Lima. His BFA is from the Columbus College of Art and Design. His MFA is from The Ohio State University.  

His work has been included in group exhibitions in Paris, Tokyo, The United Arab Emirates, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and throughout the United States and Europe. In addition, he has had a dozen solo exhibitions in New York City and Los Angeles, with numerous other solo exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. 

Recent solo exhibitions include Envoy Enterprises, Amsterdam, Holland, June 2015, Linda Warren Projects, February 2016, and Angela Meleca Gallery, September 2016, In January of 2021 he will have a solo show at Envoy Enterprises in NYC.
