Léah Dwyer, an MFA student in the printmaking department, investigates her road trips across the American landscape and her brief encounters with locals through artist books and original poetry. She earned her BFA in printmaking at George Mason University in Fairfax VA. Léah has shown work at the Fenwick Gallery in Fairfax VA, the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton VA and in the Nebraska National Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She remains active in the book arts/zine fair community in Washington DC.
Currently, Léah is working to set up a paper mill in her studio and hopes to continue her research in paper making. When she's not in the print shop, Léah can be found hanging out with her golden, Sunny.
