This annual exhibition is an opportunity to sample an array of current directions in contemporary art, fresh from the studios of practicing professional artists who are completing their Master of Fine Arts degrees in the Department of Art at The Ohio State University.
This group of MFA candidates is the last to complete their degree under the former 2-year program duration, as all incoming and future MFA students begin a new 3-year curriculum starting this school year. Artists include ceramicists Matthew Bright and Lindsay Scypta, and photographer Hansoo Ha
Curated this year by fine arts librarian Amanda Gluibizzi, Three In Like Authority derives its name from 17th century lexicographer Thomas Blount's definition of a triarchy, found in his progressive dictionary Glossographia.
