Ships That Pass in the Night, a project by Assistant Professor Aspen Mays is currently on display in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas as a part of Crystal Bridges' exhibition State of the Art: Discovering American Art Now.

The piece, first shown at Columbus' The Center For Ongoing Research & Projects, is an array of lights that illuminates each time two ships pass within sighting distance of one another at night anywhere on the open ocean.
