Kami Westhoff is a sculpture artist who explores balance and youthful curiosity in her sculpture. Born and raised in Ohio, she received her MFA from The Ohio State University and her BFA from Bowling Green State University.
As the recipient of several travel grants, scholarships, and assistantships, Kami has had many opportunities to further her professional career by attending conferences, workshops, study abroad programs, and residencies. She was also invited to participate in a month long residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. Kami has been awarded scholarships by both Pilchuck Glass School in Washington and Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina where she has attended several workshops, and was also awarded funding to study art in Ghana, West Africa.
Currently Kami works as an Academic Counselor, advising art students at The Ohio State University. She has also taught as a visiting lecturer in the glass area at Ohio State. Kami spent the past two years as President of the Board of Trustees and works as a glass instructor at Glass Axis a non-profit glass studio in Columbus, Ohio.
