Hopkins Hall is home to a number of spaces that are managed by the Department of Art and are able to be reserved for use by affiliates of the Department of Art only (Art Students, Art Faculty, Art Staff). If you are not an affiliate of the Department of Art but would like to use one of our spaces, please contact art@osu.edu.
If you are interested in seeing our available spaces and reserving spaces for use, please visit art.skedda.com and follow the instructions below.
1) Sign-in
Our Skedda page works directly with Ohio State's Single Sign On service, meaning that you do not need to create a new account to reserve a space with us! Simply go to art.skedda.com and click on "Log in with OSU Login Service."
2) View Spaces
Once you are logged in, there are a few different ways to view the spaces that we have available here in Hopkins Hall. The default view is the Map view, a top-down view of our floor plans. You can use the drop-down menu at the top of the page to toggle to additional floors. Reservable spaces are designated by green dots on the floor plan and can be clicked on to view more information and make reservations
There are also several other ways of viewing the spaces available and viewing other reservations chronologically. These views can be found at the top left of the page.
When using the day, month, or grid views, you can click on the information button under the title of each space to view a pop-up with more information about that space.
3) Make a Reservation
Upon selecting the space on the map view, or upon selecting a time on the grid view, you will be asked to input more information about your reservation, including date, start time, end time, and booking title. You may also be asked for additional information including the course/project you are using the space for. Please note that if you would like to reserve a space for multiple days, you will need to make a separate reservation for each day! Not all spaces are eligible for multi-day bookings.
