Professor Todd Slaughter's American Primitives exhibition runs June 20-August 24, 2014 at Weston Art Gallery in Cinncinnati.
The exhibit fills the entire space with humorous and menacing objects and installations, including talking turkeys that reference the American individualism defined by Thoreau and Emerson and its contemporary extreme. More information on the Cincinnati Arts website.
