We are pleased to announce that Orly Genger will discuss her current practice/site-specific installations in a public presentation at the Wexner Center for the Arts on March 10th, at 4:00pm.   

Orly Genger was born in New York City in 1979.  She received her BA from Brown University in 2001, and attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2002.  She has since had exhibitions at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, The Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  Her installations have been included in the exhibitions MATERIAL WORLD: Sculpture to Environment at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and Energy Effects: Art and Artifacts from the Landscape of Glorious Excess at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Genger is included in the collections of The Indianapolis Museum of Art, The Hood Museum of Art, The Albright-Knox Art Gallery and The Museum of Modern Art.  Her work has been featured in ArtNews, Art in America, Sculpture, Interior Design, House and GardenThe Village VoiceThe New York Sun, The New Yorker, and The New York Times among others.
