Facilities
At Ohio State we have a deep commitment to the development of an individual proficiency in the medium. To this end we offer the Arthur Baggs Ceramic Library, a contemporary ceramics library containing over 800 volumes and periodicals and a collection of historical clay objects & historical slides which augment a facility that includes private and semi-private studios for graduate students. The equipment is comprehensive, and allows for most technical approaches.

State of the art computer labs known as the Fergus-Gilmore Computer Studio (FGCS) and Emerging Technologies Studio (ETS) are available to Graduate students in ceramics which feature high-end Macintosh-based multimedia equipment such as digital video, high resolution slide scanners, laser and inkjet printers along with the latest in digital imaging software.
