Visiting Artist- Andrew Au- April 1 + 2
Friday, April 1 (All day) - Saturday, April 2 (All day)
Andrew Au is a Cincinnati based artist, having lived for stints in Italy, Washington, DC, and New Orleans. He will be on the OSU campus April 1-2 for the following public events: Friday - April 1, Artist lecture from 5:30-6:30 pm 2nd floor Haskett Hall room 211 Saturday- April 2, Printing demo at 1:00 Haskett Hall room 110.
Au's work explores a conceptual theme for each of his series, creating a narrative and stylistic approach for each body of work.  Always tending toward the dystopic, his work feeds off his childhood fascination with science fiction, infusing it with biting political and social commentary.

Au has been exhibited nationally, a few select exhibitions being: Loyola University at Chicago, San Diego Art Institute, New Orleans Triennial, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, the Turchin Center for Art, Bowling Green State University of Ohio, and at the University of Minnesota.
He has also shown internationally at the 14th Tallinn Print Triennial in Estonia, the 7th Lessedra Print Exhibition in Bulgaria, as well as exhibitions in Canada, Turkey, Iceland, and Denmark. He has had solo exhibitions at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans as part of the New Orleans Biennial, at the Project room of Tinlark Gallery in Los Angeles, and the Alice F. and Harris K. Weston Art Gallery in Cincinnati.
